The Future of Federal Funding for Clean Energy
Jann 20 2025 - Trump signed several executive orders that potentially effect the programs described on this site. Many/most seem to overstep the authority of the executive branch and/or are sure to be challenged in court. Our best guess at this time is that many, perhaps most, programs will survive in the new administration. But things are far from certain. See Climate Backtracker from Columbia Univ Law School.

Grant Programs
There are many grant programs coming from the IRA/BIL federal acts. Some are available to apply for directly via a US agency (EPA, DOE, USDA, etc). Some require that the state apply for funding and then the state manages the distribution of funds. We are keeping our eye on as many of these programs as we can.
